My Games

Woohoo! I’m pretty thrilled to be adding this page to my site, I’ve wanted to be a game programmer since I was about 12 years old. I’ve always loved game creator programs and have worked briefly with several, but never been happy with that approach.

Recently I was re-inspired to learn to program games by Notch when I watched him live stream himself writing his recent Ludum Dare entry. That started my path to writing games myself. Currently I am participating in the UReddit class at /r/learngameprogramming, which I am enjoying quite a lot.

Below I will list the games I’ve made along with downloads.

Crack Shot

My first ever “complete” game, made for the second lesson of the UReddit Learn Game Programming class. The game is written in Java on top of the Slick library. All of the art was done by myself (I’m no artist), and the sounds are courtesy of Freesound.org.

The goal of the game is simply to survive as long as possible, and to set a high score.

Thanks for checking things out, and I always appreciate feedback!
